Jean-Marie graduated from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland with a Bachelor's degree with honors in Surgery, Medicine and Obstetrics in 2008. She is currently a part time honorary Dermatology registrar at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. She joined DRC in 2012, with her research work focused on skin cancers and their precursor lesions. Her research experience includes investigator-driven projects and early phase clinical trials, including roles as study coordinator and associate investigator. Her strong interest in clinical and translational research has led Jean-Marie to pursue a higher research degree on the dermoscopic and molecular correlation of melanocytic naevi under the supervision of Prof. H Peter Soyer.
