Anthony completed his PhD in Biomedical Engineering at The University of Queensland, specialising in the areas of transdermal drug delivery and micro-medical device development. He joined the DRC at the start of 2012, with his work focusing on enhanced drug delivery to the skin using novel micro-particulate delivery systems. His work also includes the use of reflective confocal microscopy for the in vivo and ex vivo analysis of intact and damaged/diseased skin.
Anthony is currently working in the US until the end of 2016 as part of his NHMRC Early Career Fellowship (Overseas). He is based in A/Prof Charles Lin's laboratory at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston and is working on intravital microscopy guided RNA extraction from single cells.
