Dr Antonia Laino has been working as a Clinical Research Assistant at the Dermatology Research Centre (DRC) since 2016. Antonia obtained her medical degree at the University of Queensland in 2011, and has since worked as a resident medical officer across multiple Queensland Health hospitals. Antonia also works in the Princess Alexandra Hospital Dermatology Department as an honorary dermatology registrar.

Antonia is a Higher Research Degree candidate at the University of Queensland on the subject of iris pigmented lesions as a marker for cutaneous melanoma under the supervision of Associate Professor Rick Sturm and Professor H. Peter Soyer.
