SBS The Feed - Dark side of the sun

Wednesday, July 13, 2016 - 13:00

"Dark side of the sun" aired on SBS2 The Feed on the 12th July, a story on melanoma that highlights the impact of skin cancer on the Australian population.

Three decades after we were first told to slip, slop slap, skin cancer still remains one of Australia’s greatest health challenges.

Dr Erin McMeniman, a PhD student at the Dermatology Research Centre and a specialist dermatologist, features in this melanoma story.

"Dark side of the sun" discusses melanoma and covers the inspirational stories of 2 people, Emma Betts (Dear Melanoma Blog) and Jimmy Niggles (The Beard Season), whose lives have been impacted by melanoma.
